Description
Nos. 17 and 18 are Edwardian semi-detached estate cottages located in Upleatham Village, built in the early 20th century. They are constructed from dressed sandstone and feature a plain clay tiled roof with a central stack. The cottages are 1½ storeys tall and have a symmetrical design, with doorways on the left and right sides that are covered by tiled timber-bracketed canopies. Each cottage has two mullioned leaded-light windows on both floors. The first-floor windows are set within gabled dormers that have tile-hanging above. There are extensions to the rear (south side) that are not of interest. These cottages are included for their group value with No. 13 Upleatham Village.
