Description
Greyhound Farmhouse and its attached outbuilding wing is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the early 19th century. The exterior is pebbledashed with pantile roofs, featuring coped verges and stacks made of brick, concrete block, and rubble. The building has a cross-passage layout with later internal rearrangements. The attached wing is located at the northeast corner and is connected by a splayed ashlar bay that has a moulded cornice and coping.
The main block is two storeys high with two bays and features 2-light casement windows. There is a door opening to the right, set within a dressed stone surround, leading to a plank door. The attached wing is also two storeys and has a return front with a single bay, showcasing 16-pane sash windows in dressed stone surrounds. The splayed bay includes a 16-pane sash window on the first floor, while the ground floor features a door opening in a dressed stone surround, which is a four-panelled door with the top two panels glazed.
