Description

Park House, which includes a flat, and Mill House are two connected buildings likely dating from the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond with a pantile roof. The buildings rise to 2½ storeys and feature a 2:4 bay arrangement, with the two left bays being a later addition. At the rear of Park House, there is a 2-storey, 3-bay range.

Both buildings have first and second-floor bands, with two courses for Park House and one course for Mill House. The openings are topped with flat brick arches. The doorway to Mill House is located in a 20th-century pent porch on the right side of the second bay, while Park House (flat) has a 20th-century door in the fourth bay from the left, set in a former door opening. The lower floors feature 6-pane sash windows with flush wood architraves and projecting stone cills, and there is a 20th-century window inserted in the center of the first floor of Mill House. The top storey of Mill House is blind, while Park House has two 3-pane casements flanking a short blind window, with the right-hand bay also being blind.

On the second floor of Mill House, there are two tie-rod ends. The eaves are stepped and dentilled, with shaped stone kneelers and ashlar coping. The buildings have brick end stacks and two ridge stacks; the two left-hand stacks have been rebuilt, while the two right-hand stacks are stone-coped. The right return features a blocked first-floor window and traces of a gable opening. The rear range is set back and has a door to Park House that is obscured by a 20th-century conservatory, which is not of special interest.
