Description
Split Farthing Hall is an 18th-century house constructed of reddish-brown brick. It has dentilled eaves, a first-floor string course, and a steep pantile roof. The original four-bay configuration was extended around 1980 with two bays to the south, using brick in a similar colour but slightly redder, and in keeping with the original style. The front, facing the garden, has sash windows with glazing bars set in flush moulded boxes, each topped with a gauged flat brick arch. Two sets of French doors are present, although the original entrance has been lost. The rear elevation features two horizontally sliding sash windows and two late 19th-century sash windows. A later pent roof rear extension is not considered to be of significance.
