Description

This milestone, located 20 metres south of Yew Tree Farmhouse, dates from around 1775. It is made of rough Doulting stone and stands one metre high. On the north side, there is a cast iron plate with the inscription "Frome 4 Wells II". This milestone is part of the historical Frome Turnpike route to Wells.
