Description
Little Acre is a cottage dating from around 1650, constructed from local limestone rubble with a slate roof and a coped verge on the left side. The building is two stories tall and features three bays on the right and two bays on the left, with the right half stepping forward slightly. On the left side, there are two 2-light reserved chamfer stone mullioned windows on the first floor, and on the ground floor, there is a 3-light opening to the right and a casement window to the left. The central door opening has a stone surround and features a 20th-century reproduction ribbed door. The left side also has two 2-light plain mullioned windows on the first floor, below an ovolo moulded stone mullioned window with two lights and a label, along with a small 19th-century casement window. The central door opening on this side is in a moulded stone surround with a cornice above, leading to a 20th-century glazed door. The rear of the building has a catslide roof.
