Description
The gates, gate piers, and churchyard wall of the Church of the Holy Trinity were built around 1846 by Sir George Gilbert Scott. They are constructed from Doulting ashlar. The piers feature low walls that ramp up to contiguous piers, all topped with simple stepped coping and flanked by buttresses. There is a pair of 20th-century wrought iron gates. The wall stands 2 meters high and extends 21 meters to the southwest and 63 meters to the northeast, with a flat coping. At the east end, there is a pointed arch door opening with a plank door secured by strap hinges.
