Description

Milestone located 20 metres west of Tadhill Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. It is made of rough-faced Doulting stone and stands one metre high. The north side features a cast-iron plaque that reads "Frome 6, Wells 9". This milestone is part of the turnpike route from Wells to Frome.
