Description
This is a range of farm buildings located to the rear of Manor Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of rubble with dressed quoins and feature hipped double Roman tile roofs, arranged in a "U" plan and standing two stories tall.
The left wing consists of six bays, with 20th-century casements set in block surrounds on the ground floor, along with three door openings and stable doors. Above, there are small hay loft openings in similar surrounds with plank doors. The central block has nine bays with alternating segmental-headed door openings, a small hay loft door directly above, and segmental-headed window openings. The central hayloft door is flanked by ten pigeon holes and perches.
On the left side, there are five bays featuring a broad segmental-headed carriageway, with a smaller segmental archway to its left, and three door openings, one of which is partially blocked. A flight of stone steps leads to a door opening on the first floor. This impressive range of 19th-century farm buildings showcases notable architectural features.
