Description
The Old School House is a mid-19th century school building that has been converted into a dwelling. It is constructed of painted rubble with dressed quoins and features a plain and fishscale tile roof. The building is designed in a Gothic style and has one and a half storeys with two bays. It includes two-light chamfered stone mullioned windows, where each light has a segmental head, above sashes with a single mullion. The broad gabled porch has coping and a base for a finial, and it features a pointed arch door opening with a label and a pair of two-panelled doors. There is a two-light mullioned window on the left return and a single attic light. At the rear, there is an extensive 20th-century gabled addition.
