Description

This is a house located at 1 Combeland Road in Minehead, dating from the mid-19th century. It features painted render over rubblestone and has a slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high. The front has a symmetrical three-window arrangement, while the left side facing Brook Street has a two-window range. The windows have painted stepped stone voussoirs and the mid-19th century door has two long semicircular-arched panels with an overlight in a plain semicircular-arched opening. The left gable end is adorned with a fretted bargeboard. The interior has not been inspected. This house is included for its group value.
