Description

49 Quay Street is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features painted render over rubblestone and has a slate roof with a brick stack on the right gable end. The building has a two-unit plan and stands three storeys high with a symmetrical two-window arrangement. The windows are modern three-light casements, with those on the second floor positioned at eaves level. The central door frame is cyma-moulded and has a dentilled cornice, while there is another door to the far right; both doors are modern and have contemporary hoods. An anchor is attached to the centre of the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
