Description
Laurel House is a house located in Minehead, dating from the late 18th century and remodelled around 1980. The exterior features painted render over rubblestone and a slate roof with a stack at the rear. The building has a two-unit plan with a wing on the left side and stands three storeys high, displaying a symmetrical arrangement of three windows. The former quoins are hidden by plain pilasters, and there are raised flat arches above the 20th-century windows. The central doorway is flanked by flat pilasters with moulded caps and has a hood supported by shaped brackets. To the left, there is a single-storey wing formed by three combined lean-tos. Adjacent to this wing is an early 19th-century semi-elliptical-arched doorway, with a 20th-century window positioned at the far left. The interior has not been inspected.
