No. 51 Quay Street is an 18th-century house positioned at a right angle to Quay Street. It features painted render over rubblestone and has a plain tile roof that is half-hipped to the left side (the front). The house has a one-unit plan and is attached to No. 49 on the left. It is two storeys high with a one-window range. Each floor has a 20th-century three-light casement window, and the entrance is located on the right return. The interior has not been inspected.
