Description

Summerhill is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features colourwashed render over coursed slatestone rubble and has a gabled slate roof with rendered end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high, presenting a symmetrical three-window range. A 19th-century gabled porch leads to a six-panelled inner door. The ground floor windows have flat rendered arches and consist of late 19th-century four-pane plate-glass sashes, while the first-floor windows are early 19th-century sixteen-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected. Summerhill is included for its group value.
