Description
Heale Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has undergone later alterations. It features colourwashed render over cob and stone, with a hipped slate roof. The building has a rendered stone ridge stack on the right and an end stack on the left, while the rear outshut has a rendered stone lateral stack finished in late 19th-century brick. The farmhouse has a four-unit plan with a rear outshut and stands two storeys high, displaying a four-window range. There are flat rendered arches above a late 19th-century six-panelled door, which has four glazed panels, located to the left of centre, and above 20th-century French windows to the right of centre. Additionally, there is a flat rendered arch over a 20th-century two-light casement window, and a 20th-century door in the right gable end. Although an interior inspection was not possible, it is likely to be of interest.
