Description

LITTLEHAM SS42SW 6/130 Nether Boundstone Farmhouse II Farmhouse, now house. C16/early C17, with later alterations. Colourwashed render over coursed slatestone rubble and cob beneath eaves; gabled C20 tile roof; brick left end stack; rendered brick right end stack; lateral stack to centre of front wall, of stone finished in brick. 3-unit plan with cross-passage to left of central hall. 2-storeys; 4-window range. C17 plank door with moulded ribs, set in heavy pegged frame: C20 hood. Flat rendered arches over late C19 two to 3-light casements with glazing bars. Rear elevation has C20 conservatory, late C19 outshut to right and probably C17 outshut to centre. Interior: C18 plank door with strap hinges to room on left, which has stop-chamfered beam with pyramidal stops. First floor has C19 plank doors and C17 planks to floor. Like Middle Langdon, this house has the cross passage positioned in the structurally distinct and lower end of the house.
