Description

This is an unknown chest tomb from the 17th century located in the churchyard about 30 metres north of the tower of the Church of St Andrew. It is made of dressed stone and features an ogee moulded plinth. The tomb has two semi-circular headed niches on the north and south sides, with similar niches at each end. Leaf decoration is present in the spandrels, and there are emphasised keys and dentil decoration. The east and west ends have decayed inscriptions. The top of the tomb is a hipped slab with an ogee moulding around its lower edge.
