Description
This is a detached cottage, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of local stone, cut and squared, with a thatched roof featuring a coped gable on its north side. The cottage has brick chimney stacks at both ends and between the bays. It extends two storeys and has four bays. The windows are horizontal bar casements, mostly with three lights, with no window in the lower bay four, all set under exposed timber lintols. A boarded door with a glazed panel is positioned between bays two and three, hung on a heavy frame and sheltered by a rustic timber and thatched open porch. The interior has not been inspected.
