Description
This building is a shop and house dating from the 18th century, located on the south side of High Street in Evercreech. It is constructed of rubble with alternating quoins on the right side of the first floor and features a triple-Roman tile roof. The building has a single bay and is two storeys high. On the first floor, there is a Venetian window set in a freestone surround, with a sash window that has glazing bars in each light, and the central light features radiating glazing bars at the top. The ground floor has a slightly projecting late 19th-century double shop front, which includes large plate-glass windows on either side of a half-glazed door. The plinths of the original 18th-century shop front are still visible beneath the current 19th-century shop front.
