Description

This is a rank of three houses, known as Clontarf Crossways, located on the south side of High Street, Evercreech. The building dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with concrete and asbestos slate roofs, featuring coped verges and brick stacks. The facade is arranged with a 2:2:2 bay layout, incorporating four-pane and twelve-pane sash windows set within moulded freestone architraves. The three door openings are framed by stone surrounds; two have triangular pediments supported by consoles, one features a cambered stone hood on ornamental stone brackets. The doors themselves are of panelled design, with glazed upper portions, and one is plank.
