Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage that is part of a row, dating from the 18th century with later alterations. The building features ashlar stone on the ground floor and roughcast, colourwashed walls on the first floor, topped with an asbestos slate roof and a tall brick chimney stack. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. The first floor has sash windows with four panes set in raised painted surrounds, while the ground floor has 12-pane sash windows. The entrance is a central 20th-century six-panelled door, sheltered by a zinc trellis porch with an ogee-shaped roof.
