Description

This is a pair of early 18th-century cottages located 20 metres south-west of Hurst, in Selwood. The cottages are built of rubble, with a stone tile roof to the left and a triple-Roman tile roof to the right. The left cottage has a prominent gable facing the front, containing a 3-light wooden casement window on the first floor. The ground floor features a 3-light stone-mullioned window with a dripmould. The right cottage has three bays and three 2- and 3-light stone-mullioned windows, each with stopped labels. A plank door is situated on the right side, and another plank door, set within an edge-rolled stone surround, is on the left.
