Description
Hurst is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of rubble with an ashlar front and has a pantile roof featuring two hipped roofed dormers and two brick stacks. The symmetrical facade consists of two storeys and attics with three bays. The windows are paired casements with glazing bars set in plain stone surrounds, and the central window on the first floor has a semi-circular arch head, highlighted by imposts and a keystone. There is a projecting ashlar porch with a strapwork parapet, which includes a door opening in a four-centred surround, leading to a six-panelled door with a glazed central panel.
