Chest tomb. Dated 1617. Possibly Doulting stone. Base buried; plain sides; heavy flat top with angled under coving. Main inscription on West end reads "ROBERT TH/ORNE OF CL/APTVN DEC/ESED THE 13/OF AVGYST 1617/ AND HIS AGE/72".
