Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located 3 metres north of the organ chamber door in the churchyard of the Church of St Lawrence. It is probably from the late 17th century and made of Doulting stone. The tomb is half buried, so the base is not visible. It features plain sides and a flat moulded top, which has crude details in the coving and a moulded band beneath the panels. Unfortunately, any inscriptions have been lost.
