Description
Hanover House is a house that has been modified for use as offices. It dates from the 19th century and features a rendered front that has been colourwashed. The roof is concealed by a plain parapet, and there are brick chimney stacks. The building stands three storeys high and has three bays. It includes sash windows in plain openings, with 12-pane windows on the first floor and 9-pane windows on the second. There is a late 20th-century shopfront across the first two bays, with a recessed door to the left. The third bay features a flush-panelled door set in a semi-circular arched recess, topped by a Regency pattern radial glazed fanlight. The interior has not been seen. The building is primarily included for its group and streetscape value.
