Description
Barchington House is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features unpainted 20th-century render and a slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has a double-depth plan and is two storeys high, with a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The windows are 8/8-pane sash windows. At the centre, there is a wide semi-elliptical arched recess adorned with vermiculated Coadestone voussoirs and a headmask, which contains 20th-century carved set-back double doors. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have semicircular-arched alcoves in the ground-floor rooms, six-panel doors, cornices, and panelled shutters.
