Description
The East boundary wall, located 15 metres from Weston House, is a garden wall and gate piers that may date from the 18th century. It is constructed from stone rubble, mortared, and features several courses of dry stones on the coping. The wall stands about 1.5 metres high at the returns and approximately 1.1 metres high along the 40 metres of its frontage. The gate piers are formed by ashlar quoins that match the wall thickness, topped with square moulded caps just above the wall and ball finials on shaped bases. This structure significantly contributes to the setting of Weston House.
