Description

These are walls enclosing a kitchen garden, dating to the 18th century. They are located north west of The Manor House at Weston Park. The walls front onto High Street and are constructed of coursed stone, divided into nine bays by slightly battered, flat pilasters that sweep upwards to higher sections at each end. A modern entrance, built in 1958, features a wrought iron gate and is positioned in the third bay from the left. Two further wooden gates are also present. The walls are topped with thin stone coping. The walls continue to enclose the rectangular kitchen garden on all four sides, declining to a lower height along Wood Lane, which was historically part of the Throckmorton's Weston House Estate.
