Description
The gate piers and attached walls across High Street at the southeast angle of the kitchen garden of Weston Park date from around 1700. The stone walls on either side curve up to panelled ashlar stone piers that rest on moulded plinths. The piers feature panelled sides, with inner pilasters and scroll brackets on the outer sides that rest on the walls. They also have moulded cornices and large carved pineapples on the plinths.
