Description

The west, south, and east walls to the kitchen garden at Farm Cottage in Hincheslea date from the late 18th century and are constructed of red brick in English bond. These walls create a square enclosure, with the west wall featuring a crinkle-crankle design. The south and east walls are plain and include strip buttresses and some areas of patching. There is a pair of wrought iron gates in the south wall. The north side of the enclosure is formed by the former gardener's cottage, a vine house, and a late 20th-century conservatory, which are not of special interest.
