Description
Walnut Cottage is a cottage built in the late 19th century as part of the Brockenhurst Park Estate. It is constructed of brick with scantling timber and has a pebbledash covering. The roof features bands of plain and fishscale tiles, as well as diamond tiles. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has wings on one side, positioned at the second bay from the road, with an external stack on the other side. The road-facing end includes a small bay with a pent roof, which has a 3-light cast iron lozenge-pane casement window, with a similar window above it. On the left side of the wing, there is a gabled porch, and on the right end, there is an external stack with a diamond-shaped shaft.
