Description

Sherwood Cottage is a cottage built in the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubblestone and features a roof covered with fishscale tiles. The cottage has two bays and stands one and a half storeys tall. A central boarded door is located in an open gabled porch supported by posts. The windows are three-light leaded casements, with the upper windows having gabled tops and eaves that break. There are modern lean-to stacks at both ends of the cottage. The rear elevation is made of brick set on a stone plinth.
