Description
Bonington is a cottage dating from the early 19th century, with a later extension added in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick featuring pale headers and has a pantile roof. The building includes a first-floor band, cogged eaves, and coped gables with tumbling. There are two gable stacks and a single ridge stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a 20th-century brick glazed porch with a plain 19th-century doorcase, flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Above the porch, there are two glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. The later 19th-century extension to the east is also two storeys tall and has a 20th-century brick glazed porch, with one glazing bar sash on each floor.
