Description

The Old Farmhouse is a circa 1700 brick farmhouse. It has a steep-pitched pantile roof, a brick plinth, a band at first floor level, eaves bands on the gables, cogged eaves, coped gables, and two gable stacks. The building is two storeys with garrets and has three windows, arranged in an L-shape. The central area features a 20th-century moulded doorcase with a 20th-century half-glazed door, flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Above these are three glazing bar sashes, also with segmental heads. A 19th-century glazing bar casement is in the gable. To the rear is a 20th-century brick porch with a hipped pantile roof; above the porch is a single 19th-century glazing bar sash and a single large 19th-century glazing bar casement.
