Arched gateway and attached garden wall. Mid C19. Pointed arch gateway in rusticated ashlar surround which forms part of a wall, moulded coping to top; vertical plank door with iron strap hinges and latch mechanism stopped label above. Rubble garden wall to Beckington Abbey (QV) four metres high running for 100 metres along West side of Church Hill. Primarily included for townscape value, particularly in conjunction with approach to church.
