Description

No. 2 Church Hill is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from random rubble and features a double-Roman tile roof with a brick ridge stack set at an angle and a small gabled dormer. The house is part of a row and has two storeys and an attic, comprising three bays. The first floor includes two bays with 2-light moulded stone mullioned windows, and an additional opening with a 2-light casement window. The ground floor has a 6-pane sash window and three attached 4-light sash windows, all of which are under concrete lintels. A 20th-century glazed door is located in a recess to the right, accessed by three steps. The house is primarily noted for its group value within the row.
