Description

This is a chest tomb located about 4 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St. Catherine, dating from the later 18th century. It is made of Ham stone, with the base buried. The tomb features panels that have a reverse curve and rosette corners, with one rosette at each end and two on each side. Fluted pilasters adorn the flanks, and there is no frieze. The shallow hipped top is finished with moulded coving. Unfortunately, the inscriptions on the tomb are not legible.
