Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard about 29 metres south of the tower of the Church of St. Catherine. It dates from the earlier 18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and fielded panels, with one panel at each end and two on each side. There are no pilasters or frieze present. The hipped top has moulded coving with rounded leading edges. Unfortunately, the inscriptions on the tomb are not legible.
