Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 19 metres south-south-east of the tower of the Church of St. Catherine. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and simple panels, with one panel on each end and two on each side, but it does not have a frieze. The hipped top has moulded coving and rounded leading edges. The inscription on the tomb is worn but commemorates Bridget, who died in 1732.
