Description

No. 50 is a semi-detached house from the early 19th century, constructed of Ham stone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof featuring stepped coped gables and yellow brick chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and two bays. It features chamfer-mullioned windows set in chamfered recesses without labels, consisting of three lights with rectangular leaded panes and iron-framed opening lights. To the left of the first bay, there is a boarded door in a plain opening, which is sheltered by a flat stone hood supported by wrought-iron brackets. The interior has not been seen.

At the north-east corner, there is a length of wing wall with flat coping and a cambered-arched gateway. Approximately 2 meters east of the house, there are plain railings with a top rail, without spikes, set on a 500 mm high stone wall, along with a 20th-century gate opposite the door. These features enhance the setting of the house, which is located opposite the west end of the Church of St. Catherine.
