Standpipe for a pump. Mid C19. Cast-iron. Approx 1m high; moulded cornice and conical knob to the top, fluted shaft with hollow moulding and pulvinated disc to the base, set on a square base. 2 outlets, to centre and top of shaft, on the south side. This is situated above an underground stream. Included for group value.
