Offices on corner site, formerly house. Early C19. Rendered and colourwashed, Welsh slate roof with sweep to corner, plain gables, ashlar chimney stacks. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic, single bay to Saddler Street, curved corner bay and 2 bays to Chamberlain Street. Plinth, pilasters to bays, cornice band. Probably 1930s shop front to Saddler Street and corner bay, with rendered pilasters flanking pair 3-panel doors and rectangular fanlight on left, then 20-pane bronze casement. First floor has 12-pane sash windows in plain architraves, with one built on the curve. The Chamberlain Street elevation has bronze casements to ground floor, at first-floor level bay 2 has a 12-pane sash window, but bay 1 has a blind window with glazing bars painted on. 3 flat-roofed dormers with modern casement windows in roof. INTERIOR: not inspected. The property was built as part of the terrace Nos 1 to 9, Chamberlain Street (qqv), taking the design into Sadler Street by a graceful quadrant curve, very characteristic of urban development in the early C19.
