Description
Richmond House is a house in a row, featuring a 19th-century facade that may cover an earlier building. The exterior is rendered and colourwashed, topped with a double Roman clay tiled roof that has an abutment to the east and a coped gable to the west, along with a brick chimney stack.
The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It includes a plinth, end pilasters, a cornice, and a plain parapet. The plain sash windows are set in moulded architraves, with the lower bay window positioned to the right to accommodate the entrance. The entrance consists of a six-panel door beneath a rectangular fanlight, flanked by pilasters, and features a plain entablature and a moulded flat hood. There is an enamel street sign framed under the sill of the first-floor bay three window, and a late 20th-century hanging sign located between bays two and three. The interior has not been inspected.
