Description

Grange Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 18th century and has been altered. It is constructed of pinkish brick in Flemish bond and features an interlocking tile roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has three bays, along with a partial rear outshut and an added rear wing. The openings are topped with stretcher-brick heads. The central door, which is from the 20th century, is accompanied by a four-pane overlight set in a wooden frame. The windows are also from the 20th century and are cross-casement style with projecting sills. There is a three-course band at the first floor and an eaves band. The ends of the building have tabled stacks.

At the rear, the main range features stopped eaves. The wing shows signs of a former lower gable with tumbled-in brickwork and a blocked window opening, along with an added outshut on the side of the wing. On the left side, there is a small four-pane side-sliding sash window on the first floor and in the attic; the wing has a 16-pane sash window on the ground floor and an 8-pane side-sliding sash above. On the right side, there is a small 16-pane side-sliding sash window in the attic, tumbled-in brickwork at the gable, and two iron tie-rods at one end.
