Description

This is a mid-18th century outbuilding located approximately 50 metres west of Well House in Hartwith cum Winsley. The structure is made of coursed squared gritstone and features a roof of pantiles and corrugated asbestos. It consists of a range of four loose boxes, is single storey, and is built at right angles to the road, spanning approximately eight bays. The building has four board doors set in quoined surrounds with plain lintels, which may have been raised, and there are no other openings. The design includes bulbous kneelers and gable coping. On the left return, there are three vents that are similar to those found on the nearby barn.
