Description
Woodthorpe Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 17th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of squared rubble stone with stone dressings and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. A mid-20th century porch is located right of centre, containing a half-glazed door with a plain lintel. A double chamfered two-light mullioned window with a hoodmould is on the ground floor to the left. To the right is a two-light chamfered window, incorporating a 19th century flat-faced mullion and a broken slate dripstone. The upper floor has three windows: a central three-light double chamfered mullion, flanked by similar two-light windows. Gable end ridge stacks are present. The interior is not accessible. The building is included on the list for its group value.
