Description
Lane End House is a house from the early 19th century, built with rendered rubble and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a central staircase plan. The central entrance has a plain surround and a four-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed. There are two ground floor windows and three upper floor windows, all with plain surrounds and sash designs. The house also has square eaves brackets and gable end ridge stacks. At the rear, there is a central staircase window with a round-headed keystone. Inside, there is a dog-leg staircase with turned balusters. The house is included for its group value.
