Description

Ivy Cottage and The Old Cottage are two cottages, likely built in the late 18th century. They are constructed of red-brown brick and feature a pantile roof with end chimneys, although only the right side has a kneeler. The cottages are two storeys high, each with two bays. Ivy Cottage has a central entrance with a modern panelled door, flanked by 20th-century bow windows, and above are 20th-century casement windows. The Old Cottage, located to the right, has an end entrance with a simple 20th-century door. Both cottages have Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars on the ground and first floors, which are set under painted lintels. The eaves are dentilled throughout. The cottages are included partly for their group value.
